About Fampa Construction
Who is Fampa Construction LLC?
+
Fampa Construction LLC is a Gilbert, Arizona-based underground utility contractor specializing in horizontal directional drilling (HDD), fiber-optic installation, and trenchless dry-utility construction for internet service providers and general contractors across the Phoenix metro.
How long has Fampa Construction been in business?
+
Fampa Construction was established in 2022 and has completed thousands of feet of HDD bores and fiber conduit installations across the Phoenix Metro in that time. Our crews bring decades of combined underground utility experience to every job.
Are you licensed and insured in Arizona?
+
Yes. Fampa Construction is fully licensed under Arizona ROC #339873, BBB accredited, and carries full general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Our ROC license can be verified directly on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors site.
Where is Fampa Construction located?
+
Our office is at 1166 E Warner Rd, Suite 201, Gilbert, AZ 85296. We mobilize crews from Gilbert to job sites across Maricopa and Pinal County every day.
What makes Fampa Construction different from other underground contractors?
+
We are ISP-focused, own our HDD rigs and vacuum excavators, and run tight, accountable crews. That means faster mobilization, cleaner bores, and a single point of contact from bid to as-builts, no layered subs, no finger-pointing.
How do I contact Fampa Construction?
+
Call (602) 859-9765 or email map@fampaco.com. You can also submit a project through the contact form and a project manager will follow up the same business day.

Bids, Estimates & Project Start
Bids, Estimates & Project Start
How do I request a bid for an HDD or fiber project?
+
Send scope, footage, bore diameter, conduit sizing, and target schedule to map@fampaco.com or call (602) 859-9765. For larger builds we'll schedule a site walk before pricing.
How long does a bid take?
+
Most HDD and fiber bids are turned around in 3–7 business days. Complex multi-phase ISP builds or projects requiring locates and traffic control plans may take up to two weeks.
What information should I have ready?
+
Bore path or route KMZ, footage, conduit count and diameter, soil conditions if known, permit status, and target start date. If you only have a rough scope we'll help scope it out.
Do you charge for estimates?
+
No. Standard HDD, fiber, and utility installation estimates are free. Detailed engineering, potholing surveys, or SUE work is quoted separately when required.
What's your minimum project size?
+
We take on everything from single-shot residential service drops to multi-mile ISP backbone builds. Reach out with the scope and we'll tell you honestly if we're the right fit.
How far out are you booking?
+
Lead times vary by season and crew availability. Rush and emergency mobilizations can often start within 48–72 hours, call us to check current capacity.

HDD, Fiber & Utility Services
HDD, Fiber & Utility Services
What services does Fampa Construction offer?
+
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD), fiber-optic conduit and cable installation, underground utility and conduit installation, utility locating and vacuum potholing, and open-cut trenching for power, communications, and dry utilities.
What size bores can you drill?
+
Our Ditch Witch and Vermeer HDD rigs handle bores from 2" service laterals up to 12"+ mainline conduit banks, with typical bore lengths from 100 to 1,500 feet per shot depending on geology and site constraints.
Do you install fiber-optic cable as well as conduit?
+
Yes. We install HDPE and innerduct conduit, pull and blow fiber, place handholes and vaults, and coordinate with your splicing crews for a complete ISP-ready build.
Can you locate and pothole existing utilities before we dig?
+
Yes. We run vacuum excavation trucks for non-destructive potholing and SUE-quality utility locating, so your design team gets verified depths and horizontal offsets before crews mobilize.
Do you handle permits and traffic control?
+
We coordinate ROW permits, ADOT and municipal encroachment permits, and ATSSA-compliant traffic control plans as part of most ISP and utility scopes.
What equipment do you run?
+
Ditch Witch and Vermeer HDD rigs, Peterbilt-mounted vacuum excavators, mini excavators, and support trucks, all owned, maintained, and operated by Fampa crews.

Clients & Industries Served
Clients & Industries Served
Who are your typical clients?
+
Internet service providers, fiber network builders, general contractors, municipal utilities, and dry-utility subcontractors building out communications, power, and conduit infrastructure across the Phoenix Metro.
Do you work directly with ISPs?
+
Yes, ISPs are our core customer. We understand FTTH build economics, splice-point planning, handhole spacing, and the schedule pressure that comes with turning up new service areas.
Can you support general contractors on site development?
+
Absolutely. We regularly install underground conduit banks, service laterals, and dry-utility infrastructure for GCs on commercial site development, tenant improvements, and greenfield builds.
Do you take on public and municipal work?
+
Yes. As an AZ ROC-licensed contractor we're eligible for public bids, prime and sub roles on municipal fiber, and franchise utility work across the Phoenix Metro jurisdictions.
Do you work on new construction, retrofits, or both?
+
Both. HDD is especially well-suited to retrofits and overbuilds where open-cut would disturb roads, landscaping, or existing utilities, we install without tearing up the surface.
Can you subcontract to larger fiber prime contractors?
+
Yes. We regularly run as a specialty HDD and fiber sub for regional and national primes and can staff dedicated crews on long-term programs.
