FAQsAnswers Before You Break Ground
Common questions from ISPs, general contractors, and property owners planning HDD, fiber, and underground utility work across the Phoenix Metro.
What services does Fampa Construction offer?
We specialize in horizontal directional drilling (HDD), fiber-optic installation, underground utility and conduit installs, utility locating and potholing, and trenching services for ISPs, general contractors, and municipalities across the Phoenix Metro.
Do you work with internet service providers (ISPs)?
Yes, ISPs are our core client base. We handle everything from long-haul backbone bores to last-mile fiber drops, with crews trained on ISP construction standards, documentation, and testing requirements.
What areas in Arizona do you serve?
We are headquartered in Gilbert and actively serve Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, and surrounding East Valley communities. Larger jobs across the Phoenix Metro are considered on request.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Fampa Construction LLC is fully licensed (AZ ROC #339873), bonded, and insured. We are also BBB accredited and carry general liability, auto, and workers' compensation coverage.
What equipment do you run?
Our fleet includes Ditch Witch and Vermeer HDD rigs, vacuum excavators, mud recyclers, mini-excavators, and support trucks, sized to handle everything from residential drops to municipal duct banks.
Do you handle Arizona 811 locates and permits?
Yes. We file Arizona 811 tickets, coordinate with private locators when needed, and pull ROW, encroachment, and city permits so your project stays compliant from day one.
How long does a typical fiber install take?
Timelines depend on footage, bore depth, splice count, and permitting. Residential drops can be same-day; neighborhood builds run days to weeks. We provide realistic schedules with every bid.
How do I get a bid or estimate?
Send drawings, a scope description, or a site address to map@fampaco.com or call (602) 859-9765. Most bids go out within one to three business days depending on scope complexity.
Do you offer utility locating without full excavation?
Yes. We use vacuum excavation (soft-dig potholing) to expose and verify existing utilities without damaging them, critical before any HDD bore or trench cut.
What safety standards do you follow?
Our crews follow OSHA, ADOT, and Arizona 811 best practices, run daily JHAs, and maintain competent-person oversight on every excavation. Safety documentation is available on request.
